The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), has commenced the nationwide distribution of 1,241 solar-powered cold chain units, a critical step in a monumental effort to strengthen vaccine storage and delivery across the country. This initiative, valued at approximately $11 million USD, is a testament to the government's commitment to ensuring that every Nigerian has access to life-saving vaccines, regardless of location.
The equipment, which includes 1,241 B-Medical Systems Solar Direct Drive Refrigerators, 165 sets of spare parts, and advanced Temperature Monitoring devices, is now being installed and deployed by our expert team.
